The Music and Worship Committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 10:00 A.M. in Pastor’s Office

Responsibilities of Music and Worship Committee:
Work with the pastor to plan special worship events; prepare the Elements for Holy Communion, change altar paraments to co-incide with Seasons of the Luturgical Year; Assemble and mail Lenten and Advent Wreaths; Put together and mail out Advent and Lenten Folders, assist in securing and making available individual candles and holders for Christmas Eve Service.

The Choir sings under the direction of Jo Ann Wiele, Director of Music at First United Church of Christ. Jo Ann is the organist/pianist for the choir and also selects the music to be sung.

When the Choir meets for practice, it is on Monday at 5:00 P.M. Since the Choir does not sing every Sunday during the year, practices are set in accordance with upcoming events.
